Student feedback:

Karen is an amazing teacher!! I take private pottery lessons with Karen and I am over the moon with all she has taught me.   In just a short time I've learnt so much from  Karen and her extensive experience working with clay.  The one on one mentoring has really let me understand proper techniques on the wheel and with shaping my pieces.  I can proudly say with Karen as a teacher I'm well on my way to becoming a potter like I've always wanted to be.

I'm so glad I found Karen! She has gotten me out of the slump I had found myself in and helped me improve my pottery skills in varied and noticeable ways! I have grown in confidence when I approach the wheel; the clay is starting to do what I tell it to do, and not the other way around. She is patient and reassuring if I feel discouraged about something and always finds a creative way through any obstacle I might face. I can't recommend Karen Taylor enough!                                                                                                                                                                                                          -Robyn Olfert, intermediate

Having taken group pottery classes in the past, I would highly recommend anyone who is learning pottery for the first time to consider private lessons with Karen. It is wonderful to be able to decide what I wanted to specifically practice or learn each lesson, instead of being at the whim of the instructor. I always have Karen's full attention, and my confidence and skill have progressed so much under her guidance. Karen's a gifted teacher, who is patient, compassionate as well as knowledgeable of her craft.                                                                                                                       -Arielle Godbout, beginner
